Pa Would Hock That Tool Chest

This week's Toon Club topic is "The Butcher, The Baker, and the Candlestick Maker." I'm still working the bugs out of my concept for that, but the whole three men in a tub thing got me thinking about washtubs, which got me thinking about good ol' Emmet Otter and his ma. Just a quick sketch here, nothing fancy. Pa would have wanted it that way.

A classic! I'm glad to see you're into the holiday spirit already. Speaking of which, too bad I don't work with you anymore or I'd probably have played this soundtrack for you sometime in the last week. I love it, Adrian! Now you should draw the Riverbottom Nightmare Band.

Very cool! I agree with s.t.- need to see the NIGHTMARE next. I can clearly hear Chuck growling "I'm Hungry!" Great work!!

"We can always use a friend, in our world" I like this drawing a lot. My husband makes me watch this show every Christmas!

Thank you for your nostalgic comments, everyone. I feel that we're closer now than ever before.

I'll tackle the Nightmare sometime.

It is better than The Small One which he also makes me watch, even though he knows it makes me cry.

You know, Adrian... making your wife watch this show and Small One... sometimes I'm amazed at how much alike we are. Perhaps we're long lost brothers.

Also, it would be nice if you could draw that fox we spoke about. What fox? Just ask Pa.
