Graphic Novel Sneak Preview

Okay, so some of you may be aware that I'm in the very slow process of producing a graphic novel. It's been in the works long enough now that I've decided to share a (tiny) taste with you.

Of course, as you may have expected, it features penguins. I've removed the dialogue from this half-page of art, as it contains key plot points. As it stands now, the graphic novel will consist of 120 page and a cast of about thirty, most of which aren't penguins. I'd originally planned this as an animated feature, but I think I have a much better chance of realizing this as a printed adventure first. Since I work on this in my free time, there is no telling when it will be finished. It's really a labor of love and I don't plan on rushing it.

Fantastic! I can't think of a better story for it!

I actually kind of like it better when they don't say anything... it makes them seem more like real penguins that way. I'm excited to see the whole thing when it's done... if either of us lives that long.

Hello there - I've been following your work just recently and I love it.
Your character designs have a zany appeal and heaps of energy.
Awesome stuff.

very exciting! I've been meaning to send you a message and a picture...our little girl was born a few weeks ago, Claire. The penguin picture you did for us is hanging up in her room and looks adorable, thank you so much. I'll post up pictures of her nursery on the blog if you want to see them. www.brendenbehen.blogspot.com .
