One of my favorite parts of a project is designing characters. I'm currently working on a fairy tale princess idea (bringing the total number of stories competing for space in my brain to five) and thought I'd share some of my doodled ramblings!
Interesting fact: Even though I now draw exclusively on my Cintiq, I still seem to prefer a blue sketchy pencil brush in Photoshop. I guess you can only teach an old dog 50% of a new trick.

Great sketches Adrian. Would you be able to share those settings for the brush you like so much?
Cool. Great job capturing those casual poses, necely feminine. Btw I'm the 100 follower of your awesome blog!!! =D Greetings from Mexico.
nicely* oops!
these are great Adrian. wow, I have to use a pencil. Drawing with a stylus is right up there with doing the dishes for me. very nice job.
Let all your little nieces decide which one they like the best.
Great expressions man, way to show that Cintiq who's boss!
Beautiful as usual.
beautiful sketches Adrian!
Oh, wow! You are so good. (swoon)
Very nice drawings! Love them all :)! keep it up!
Adrian, I am in awe. I have always been a fan of your work even when I first met you in Jr. High. Such talent...I wonder if you have ever been interested in doing a sketch of princess in different decades...
I would be ever so interested in what you would capture the 80's and 90's at...like she was caught in different time warps or something. I think it woud be hilarious to see a princess with super high bangs and BIG hair...if just for a moment! (Just look in our jr. high and high school albums for inspiration, or in the utter most lockings of your memory! Have a great day and keep blogging. I so enjoy your work!
super sketches!
